<p>There’s probably a thread somewhere on this but I couldn’t find it SO could anyone summarize the reputations/stereotypes of the different eating clubs? Or if you have the thread if you could post a link to it that’d be good.

<p>The following definitions are from the Daily Princetonian’s “A Princeton Dictionary”</p>
<p>Cap & Gown Club
Selective eating club popular with some breeds of athletes and very large male students. Food, generally fried, is served in correspondingly large portions. Club of Donald Rumsfeld ’54, Brooke Shields ’87 and Dean Cain ’88. Often referred to as “Cap.”</p>
<p>Charter Club
Eating club farthest down Prospect Avenue. Known for good food, unusually large clubhouse, proximity to the E-Quad, and Scotchtoberfest. . Has filled during sign-in for the past two years.</p>
<p>Cloister Inn
Eating club far down Prospect Avenue. Has hot tub, perhaps because many members are on the swim team or crew. Said members seem to prefer being wet at all times, judging from amount of beer thrown.</p>
<p>Colonial Club
Filled up with new members after another successful round of sign-ins this year. Nice pillars and lots of activities.</p>
<p>Cottage Club
Selective eating club with the best-kept building and grounds. A mecca for sorority girls and baseball players. See “Fitzgerald, F. Scott ’17” “Frist, Bill ’74.”</p>
<p>Ivy Club
Oldest and most exclusive Bicker club at the ‘Street.’ Formerly aristocratic and all male, now aristocratic and coed. Generally accepts half of those who bicker.</p>
<p>Quadrangle Club
Sign-in club with smallest membership of late. Cooperates with Alcohol Initiative and consequently has the best Lawnparties band.</p>
<p>Terrace Club
Only eating club on Washington Road. Home of black clothing, smoke and an alternative atmosphere. Hosts most Pride Alliance events.</p>
<p>Tiger Inn
Known as “TI.” Has the highest per-capita consumption of alcohol and hot dogs and most booting on Prospect Avenue. The last eating club to admit women. Billboard 1983 CD is default soundtrack. See “boot.”</p>
<p>Tower Club
See “ ‘Prince,’ ” “Triangle Club,” “Wilson School,” “tool shed,” as those types populate its dining room. Highest number of bickerees each of the last three years.</p>
