CMC Double major/dual major/sequence (IR Major, Ethics sequence)

Hi!

I’m currently finishing up my application for CMC RD, and wanted to include my plans in the “Why CMC” essay. However, I’m a bit confused as to what I can and can’t do in regards to adding on majors with a sequence.

I’m applying as an IR major with an Ethics sequence, but really want to add on a major in Public Policy. Is this allowed? Am I better off referring to it as a double or dual major, both in the essay and just generally in my plan? If I do go through with a Public Policy major, too, should I talk about this in the essay? I really just can’t get a grasp on my options, and would appreciate any help.
