CMU moves up in Faculty Scholarly Productivity Rankings

<p>As further evidence of its growing prestige Carnegie Mellon has been ranked # 4 among large research universities in the United States according to the Chronicle of Higher Education/Academic Analytics [2007 Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index](<a href=“http://academicanalytics.org/TopWholeSchool2006-07.html”>http://academicanalytics.org/TopWholeSchool2006-07.html&lt;/a&gt;), which is a broad measure of number of peer-reviewed publications and associated impact factors per faculty.</p>

<p>yay. If CMU wants to move up rankings some more alumni could try giving the school some money. For all our other stats, our endowment is ****-poor. I don’t even think we have a billion.</p>
