So I just checked my decisions online for the colleges at CMU. I was rejected at SCS, waitlisted at CIT, but I was accepted in the IS college. I’m wondering what I should do? Should I hope that i get picked off the waitlist or go to the IS college and hope to transfer to CIT? Which do you believe would be better to do?

What are you career goals? Are you undecided?

Well my goal is to graduate with a Degree in Computer Science. However, in CIT I would be interested in double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

I’ve got a similar question. I was accepted to my first choice MCS, but I was not accepted to my 2nd choice SCS. I want to double major in math and computer science. How much flexibility will CMU give me to pursue my interests in both math and computer science?

Bump…

Sanfran - CMU is known for being versatile and allowing students to take classes at colleges even if they’re rejected. So, you could get a minor or something.
