CNR AP credit

I know that Calc, Bio, and Lit AP tests can waive classes/reqs in CNR. But what about:

Chinese Lang & Cult
US History
Macroecon
US Gov/Pol

Do they count for anything?
And how does the units system work for cnr?

Thanks

(Assuming your science) You can use AP credit to waive out of CNR breadth (if your major requires it), but many adviser would prefer that you not do this and take breadth classes. First it will make you seem academically well rounded if you have some humanities and not just pure science and math and my adviser straight up told me " the sciences here are very hard and our students don’t tend to do as well as they want so these breadth classes are a good way to cushion your GPA."
