Co-op Questions

I’m trying to decide between Pitt and Northeastern (both for engineering), and one of the big differences is the co-op. To anyone who’s done a co-op:
Do you think 13 weeks is long enough or do you wish it were a little longer?
Were there any problems with the quality of the co-op?
If the co-ops were away from Pittsburgh, could you find housing easily?

If anyone has any other advice it would be much appreciated.

Both schools were on DD list for eng also. She chose Pitt for the strength of the engineering school and also the top 20 ranking by the Princeton review for career services. Housing is cheaper in Pittsburgh also.
