Does anyone know? The wait is killing me!
A few people have reported hearing today wailista and rejections. We still have heard nothing.
I got a rejection. Once again… I don’t understand why, I thought I had a chance! john Woodson of acting came to my PA school for prescreens and I sang for him and he promised a position. But alas, I am given a rejection.
Maybe it’s because I’m not smart enough for the honors college? Or talent or hair color or height?
I just don’t get it.
I am so sorry to hear that @hopeful1212. We can never know what the schools use to determine their class, maybe they do have someone who is your type/look already? Just never know. I wish you the best in this impossible process!
@hopeful1212 , are you saying that John Woodson told you on the spot, at your in person prescreen that you were accepted into the program already?
Has anyone not heard from Coastal?
@mtmamma2020- I might have missed it, but did you email and check with them? The Coastal college rep on this board said if people hadn’t heard by the 18th then they should send an email. Hope you get an answer soon!!
Several emails went out yesterday but we heard nada. so yes we will follow up tomorrow.
@exitstageleft yes but no. He said he will do everything he can do get me into the program or something like that. Apparently, it wasn’t a real promise or else I wouldn’t have received a rejection letter.
@hopeful1212 , sounds like he thought that you were very talented and a good fit for the school, not giving you a promise of admission. But although he can “do everything he can to get you into the program” or something like that, apparently his vote isn’t the only one needed to ensure a spot. Sorry you were disappointed and I hope you find a school that is the perfect fit for you.

We have not heard from them so not sure. He auditioned in Chicago.
