I mainly post in the MT forum since my D is actually an MT major at Coastal Carolina, but I thought I would post this here because I am such a fan of the theatre department at CCU.

CCU offers a BFA in Acting and a BFA in Physical Theatre, both of which are by audition. There is also a non-audition BA option.

There are 2 remaining on campus audition dates in February, plus CCU will be in Chicago during Unifieds this year as well.

CCU was not originally on our radar when my D started looking at schools. We found out about the program right here on CC and I am so glad that we did. My D loves the program and is very happy with her choice. It is a small program with lots of individual attention, wonderful faculty and great facilities. She really wanted a program with a very strong acting program and feels like she has that at CCU. I am happy to answer any questions either here or via PM.

Break legs to all who are going through auditions right now!
