<p>I’m sure there has to be someone else up here who enjoys logic puzzles, cryptographs and code breaking. So in the interest of making the next few days go faster, I created my own code. The picture I linked to at the bottom is of the first 3 lines of a famous poem written in my code. Who can name the poem?</p>
<p>Some rules to help you in breaking the code:
- Each symbol represents a letter, number, common word, common suffix or common prefix.
- A letter, number, word, suffix or prefix may have as many as 5 symbols that represent it.
- A symbol can only represent 1 letter, number, suffix or prefix.
- Common words with the similar meaning, may utilize the same symbol, (e.g. she and her.)
- Punctuation remains the same as in the original text, but punctuation marks may also be used as symbols.
- Scale of symbols is not important. (These are hand-drawn in paint, so they are not perfect.)
- Odd numered lines of the original poem are presented in black, even numered lines are presented in red.
- Spacing between words is not always consistent, but no word is split between 2 lines in the picture.</p>
