Cognitive Science is a relatively new field, and it is something I find interesting. However, I have no idea how law schools, especially the top 5, view this major. Can someone give me some insight? I am planning on double majoring in political science and cog sci.

I think it should be fine, especially given its inter-disciplinary breadth. CogSci requires philosophy, psych, linguistics, neuoscience, and computer science courses, right? I think the major will test both your writing skills and your analytical skills.

The only potential problem is the apparent lack of depth CogSci major; however, you are also doing PoliSci, so at least you well have a deeper focus in one discipline.
