Coincidence?

what up CC. I have a unique name, due to my Korean heritage. It is In. I know, it’s a funny name… I’m used to the smirks (basically anytime a substitute teacher would attempt to pronounce it in an asian accent…)

I have recently received an email from BU. It reads:

'Dear In:

Congratulations! You have been invited to join our Boston University community.

Now that you’re “in” you are probably wondering what comes next for a new student. All new students attend one of our summer University-wide Orientation sessions.’

So, is “in” a slang or some term that needs to be quoted now? I’m 98% sure it’s just a coincidence, and in the case it is a coincidence, it’s pretty amusing. However, if it is not, I’m pretty sad that a university poked fun at my name.

So, anyone else get that email?

Yep, received it last week and placed my deposit around two weeks ago. They mailed a similar letter also.

Mine has the “in” quoted as well, it wasn’t just your email don’t worry haha.

lol. figured as much. thought it would be amusing to share as well

Hahaha this is awesome

Well, ‘In’ as in admitted, not so much enrolling.
