Her school does gpa on a 100 point scale. Unweighted I think 95 ish. She’s ranked lucky 13/227. She’s taken as many APs as she could. Her school offers limited AP options. She also took a creative writing class at a local UMaine school
SAT- test optional (she got 1320 but opted not to send it)
EC- creative writing club and editor in chief of the school literary mag, dance, work, nhs, fhs.
Major- English and marketing/econ or something like that. She’s still debating that.
We live in Maine so there’s that. She’s got a very strong essay. Very “her” and well written.
They are need aware and we do have some need so I’m a bit stressed on that decreasing her chances.
On the scattergram from her school she’s mixed in with both accepted and rejected.
One question- do they email applicants to set up a portal? She’s seen nothing. Submitted her application on Halloween.
