colby kenyon nyu tufts bucknell ?

all five of these schools might be reaches for me but i love all of them (for different reasons)
i have 3.6 unw 3.85 w, low but i had a bad sophomore year.
sat math:680 cr:720: w:760
ec’s: 4 years varsity tennis, state championship team, doubles state champion
tutoring 2 hour week: 4 years of summer mission trip, memebr of several clubs and sophomore vp, soup kitchens volunteering etc…
junior year: AP spanish, tried out for other and didnt get in hopefully one is enough, all honors courses except chemistry
senior year: ap spanish lit, ap gopo, ap psychology, all honors
these schools are basically my reaches but i want to know which schools i have a better shot at so i can decide where to apply early!
i have connections at tufts and bucknell (tufts mother sister and uncle went, uncle is important figure at the college)
(bucknell grandfather went)

For Tufts and Bucknell, you’re already a very qualified candidate, so given your connections, I’d say you stand an excellent chance at acceptance. I think you’re a solid match at Colby, Kenyon, NYU.

If you’re going to do early applications, I’d apply early to your top choice. You stand a pretty good shot at all your schools. Good luck

anyone???

Tufts would be very difficult without those connections, but you’ve got a shot.

Kenyon and Colby should be in, NYU will be a match. I don’t know much about Bucknell, but I am quite confident you’ll get into at least one or two of these schools- likely more. If the reason for your bad sophomore year is worth explaining to colleges-health problems, family problems, etc. it might be worth writing a short note of explanation without veering into sob story country.

chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/941956-will-chance-back-yale-nyu-middlebury-etc.html

not worth explaining just laziness:) i had a 3.6 my sophomore year, so i’ve been improving
