That is exactly what I was thinking as well. They were all set to release decisions on March 13, and now are saying on or before April 1st. That leads me to believe they are making changes in admissions decisions and financial aid offers to make up for the loss in revenue from less full tuition international students on campus this Fall 
This is all speculation, but we were thinking the same thing
Maybe they are just overwhelmed? The students just left Sunday, and they still have international and others to help. Be patient, please!

As a current student at Colby I doubt this is the case. We may be receiving prorated room and broad back but still payed the full cost of tuition for the semester. As for international students, Colby has done a good job with allowing international students to stay on campus indefinitely. In addition to this may of my International friends have found peers that are willing to house them for the summer so that they do not have to leave the country.

I emailed them earlier today and they still said on or by April 1. I’m hoping they’ll come out this week

Someone who works at the school (not an ao) told me most likely the next two days. So Friday or Saturday. No guarantees though

I live about a half hour from Colby college, and saw in the news tonight that Colby college has its first staff member from the Athletic Dept test positive for coronavirus. I hope everyone on campus stays healthy 
This is an answer from Colby’s admissions 20 minutes ago:
“All decisions will be posted via the Colby portal soon in the coming days.”
do you guys think they will email us before posting the decisions? and, if it’s today would it most likely be at 5 pm? this waiting is so tough! thanks everyone for the info though

Last year they posted on social media the morning they announced, “To Colby’s Class of 2023: Admissions decisions will be released today, Friday, March 15 by 5 p.m. #Colby2023”
The announcement said by 5pm but I think they may have been released earlier, like 3pm. This is, of course, an unusual year so things could be different.
Just looked at the application status page. It looks different today - just sayin’
