Yours is an odd response. What do I mean? Generalizations and/or assertions, personal or otherwise, are not especially useful or helpful unless there are sources underscoring them. In my own search for facts I went right to Bucknell’s website to find the admitted students numbers, characteristics and statistics as well as the same information for all classes. Finding? Unlike the Colgate website which gives all that, well, it’s not at all helpful. Demerits for its look, feel, usefulness and content.
About where Colgate students come from, NY state, the other states and other countries, I believe you will find an interesting and diverse distribution. Can’t say re Bucknell. And won’t go into whether New Yorkers are friendly/ friendlier/friendliest. That’s hilarious.
In the meantime, applicants can look at USN&WR, Princeton Review and Kiplinger’s for more information, too. With the all important visit the applicant will get the information he or she seeks.
