I am a high school senior deciding between Colgate, Lehigh, Bucknell, U of Wisconsin business school, and Wake Forest. Please help me by rank ordering the schools and letting me know which is best!

These are all good schools and relatively equal in terms of prestige. If you have a strong preference for one, I would go with it - there are really are no bad choices here.

My personal preference:

1- Wake Forest
2- Colgate
3- Lehigh
4- Wisconsin
5- Bucknell

I went to Wake Forest and visited Wisconsin and Lehigh when my kid was looking. They are all VERY different schools, so it depends on what you’re looking for and what your strengths are. Wake’s business school is pretty strong, I think. The school is lovely and you get a lot of personal attention. It is very Greek, if that’s a positive or a negative! Wisconsin was great - big, but didn’t feel too big - and people seemed very friendly. Like Wake, it’s in a nice-sized town, but it’s more centrally located in the town than is Wake (you really need a car at Wake). Lehigh was fine, but we were only looking at engineering, so not sure about its business school. I think it’s pretty Greek too, and the town isn’t as good to me as W-S or Madison.

Everyone uses different criteria to rank order. Any of these schools would be a good option. What characteristics of a school are most important to you? That would help answer your question.

It completely depends on who you ask. In the northeast, People are going to say Lehigh if you want a research university, and Bucknell/Colgate for liberal arts. In the midwest, Wisconsin wins. In the south, Wake Forest wins hands down. Unless you plan on going to grad school, go where you want to work.
