College acceptance Chance?

Hello guys:

I am going onto becoming a “Sophomore” the following semester. I have taken my first SAT in June. I just have a few questions about my quality for applying to some colleges. First, I have not filed any applications yet, I will do that a year later. But I have made some picks about the colleges to apply. And I would like to know what are my chances of getting in each of the following colleges.

Harvard College

Stanford

Boston College

Rice University

Williams College

UC Berkeley

University of Chicago

Duke University

These 8 are the ones that I have in mind for now. And the following are my record/statistics and ECAs and services.

International Baccalaureate predicted grade: 43 (perfect 45). Grades: 1-7 for individuals

 • Chinese A1 Higher Level (7)
 • English A2 Higher Level (7)
 • History Higher Level (7)
 • Physics Standard Level (6)

sorry it’s quite long, and I still have a year of time to add more onto the list. By the way, because I study in an European school, i am putting my emphases on applying to colleges in UK. So I’m not sure if these information are helpful/advantageous for me to apply to US colleges. Also, I am not a very mathematical person, would taking MATH I rather than Math II in subject test affect my chances? I will be writing my essays next year only. What are the general tips and emphasis these colleges put on applicants?

Thanks guys!!

move this to the chances thingy
