Do grad.schools really check whether you really did certain activities during undergrad. yrs. to prevent presentation of false information?
(for example, a student wrote in his/her personal statement that he/she joined a frat. during her freshman yr. My question is whether grad. schools check if this is ture or not? - like emailing the club president or phone calling)

Is it worth risking it??
I honestly do not have time for activities

If you’re talking about doctoral programs, most of them don’t give a damn what activities you were in, unless they were directly related to your intended PhD field (e.g., research is relevant to many fields, social engagement could be relevant to some fields; but being a member of a sorority or fraternity doesn’t mean anything to your qualifications).

I intend to get admissions from pharmacy schools to pursue a Pharm.D degree after my first two years from a 4-year university. Would pharmacy schools still check activities?

Can’t say for sure but I sincerely doubt it – at least not the kinds of social activities you appear to be referring to. This is graduate/professional school, not undergraduate college. They want to know whether you have the skills, work habits, knowledge, ambition, and commitment to complete their program.
