College Admission Advice

I Have a 3.19 GPA
I’ve taken 4 APs and mostly honors
I’m captain of the wrestling team and have over 200 community service hours.

I got a 24 on ACT.
My SAT Superscore is
Math: 530
Reading: 610
Writing: 520

Should send in both my SAT and ACT scores? or just SAT?
Also, is Penn State, Florida State, Michigan State, Or University of Central Florida reasonable places for me to apply?
Please help me out…

SAT is a tiny bit better than the ACT, so either send just SAT or both, doesn’t matter. You should be able to answer the question about the schools yourself by looking at the common data sets for each school, or just going to their website and looking at the statistical matchup.

And because I’m nice, I’ll do it for you:

Penn State - low end (under 25%) of accepted applicants - low reach
Florida State - low end (at 25%) - low reach
Michigan State - middle (50%ish) - match
UCF - low-middle (around 30%) - low reach

So just looking at your test scores, Michigan State is the only true match, but maybe with solid ECs and good essays you can get into the other 3.

But yes, those places are reasonable to apply. I’d throw in some safeties though. Look at schools where your test scores are around the 75 percentile.
