College Admission Question

My mom works for the University of Delaware, and has for roughly 16 years. I am appling there and won’t have to pay tuition. Because I am not paying anything would the University be more likely to admit someone who will be paying? I mean, is there a bias towards people who actually pay?

No - in fact, because she’s an employee, you are probably getting a boost to your chances for admission. Most colleges treat the children of employees the way they treat legacies.

nah it won’t hurt you. Your basically have a legacy hook and on top of that UDel is a state university, the least likely to bias because of ability to pay.
