College Advising

I just received a B.S in Behavioral Neuroscience Psychology ('12) from a LAC but am looking to complete a second major that I started. Since I’m no longer in school I’m not sure what I would be considered (grad student, transfer, etc.). To make things more difficult, I’m trying to spend a minimum amount of money to take the most classes. I’m also hoping to take these classes at night because I’ll be working a full-time job.
After contacting my LAC, I found out that each course would cost approx.6k (too much), and I would be taking less classes (not good because I need to raise my gpa). This would obviously amount to a great deal of money so would a state school be a better option?

Thanks for the help!

Depends on the college. Check out the local colleges (or where ever you think you might want to attend) and just ask. Most likely you will be considered a second-major candidate. Note that many colleges, especially publics in places like California, are not accepting second-major students.

It may be easier to try and take grad courses. Again, same advice – ask the individual colleges (read their websites). Grad courses may have a slight advantage that you are moving forward and many colleges offer grad courses at night.
