<p>I received a bill for a balance of $11,778.50 due by August 1. The only problem is, my aid doesn’t come in until August 24, and September 23, respectively, and my EFC is $0. Is this just them telling me that they’ve charged my account, or will I be charged extra if I don’t pay by August 1? The Administration office is horrible at explaining things and won’t ever answer their phone, and the information on the website is contradictory. Have any of you dealt with this before?</p>
<p>It’s probably being deferred until your aid is disbursed.</p>
<p>All of my aid is covered in one way or another. The school always bills me, just to tell me they’re billing me. They always take it out of my aid themselves and issue me a refund for whatever extra I get back.</p>
<p>^So does that mean you have to pay something up front, or do you just wait?</p>
<p>Just wait, this happens everywhere. They just let you know the costs before they credit the aid.</p>
