I wanted to write about my favorite movie when I was a kid: Disney’s Hercules. I would write about how he tries to become a god, but never succeeds because he just beat up bad guys, but was too strong to have ever sacrifice anything like time or effort. He only succeeded when he sacrificed his life to save his love, Meg. I thought I could connect it to how I always got good grades easily until I took Physics and actually sacrificed real time and effort to pass the class. The only thing I’m worried about is that does this topic:

It sounds like a cool topic. It’ll definitely stick out. Don’t make it sound like you’re complaining about a difficult course. Make sure it’s well written and it can be a pretty impressive essay. Have more than one person read it after you’re done.

I think the topic is fine. Just make sure you are not writing a movie review, and it’s really about you. Make sure the Hercules stuff really helps make who you are more vivid and isn’t just a forced metaphor that you’re need to spend a lot of words explaining.
