<p>Getting worried about preliminary math scores
on Kaplan practice tests … Do their practice tests
tend to be lower or higher than the actual SAT?</p>

<p>Also, if the May SAT math score comes out low –
would you recommend taking the College Board
SAT prep colurse this summer – Kaplan prepping
comes to an end after the May SAT.</p>

<p>Finally, any comparisons between the Kaplan
prep and College Board prep would be really
appreciated!</p>

<p>Kaplan is great for students who start and want to remain in the 550-650 range, no higher. I started at 580 on their practices, finished at 620, and got a 610 on the SAT math in March. </p>

<p>Pick up a book that will help you LEARN real SAT techniques, not the BS that Kaplan feeds you. Trust me, I know. I sat through 12 weeks that probably made my score ALOT lower than had I studied alone like I am for May 5th.</p>
