<p>I got creamed in a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament today, victorious in neither the opening match nor that in the losers’ bracket. I got one kill on my first opponent next to his six of me, and in the second I only claimed four beside his seven. Well, it’s a good thing there’s another tournament within the month and I’ve got little homework…</p>
<p>The second floor RA is hilarious. His football team is horrid but he makes me laugh like every time I see him.</p>
<p>So what exactly are midterms and how do they work?</p>
<p>They’re exams…in the middle of the term. There’s not much to them other than they’re generally a chunk of your grade. Some classes have multiple “midterms” and others don’t have a midterm at all.</p>
<p>So HSA does this secret pals thing and it’s interesting…I got matched with an upperclassmen I actually know which is great…The only problem is that she’s in an apartment so I miss the whole “Leave the gift, knock, and run” opportunity…</p>

<p>I really need a haircut…So I went to check out a salon so that I can get one after I recolor my hair…Because the closest salon I don’t really like the look of so I decided I’d check out the other one after a good recommendation…The male stylist walked out to talk to the receptionist, saw my hair, and had one of those “Oooh, shiny. Must touch.” moments then asked if I did it myself…But I was warned that might happen by the person who recommended me the salon…Apparently, they really like colored hair…</p>
<p>My dye and “color remover” (aka dandruff shampoo) is at the post office…I can’t pick it up until it opens at 11 on Monday…It’s driving me nuts…</p>
<p>Good luck, Zombie! Next week I’m going to start studying for mine which are two weeks away. I’m a bit worried, but at the same time eager to prove my knowledge and capability.</p>
<p>On term of loudness my dorm floor is generally quiet. Can’t say the same for everyone else. I don’t even I have to leave the room to study. I felt like I been told a lie about how dorms are always noisy.</p>
<p>Lucky duck! The guys from the other side keep comin on our side at the most random times! Like the other night, they just showed up around 1AM watching TV in common area.</p>

I dont plan to recolor my hair til my bday in Dec when i flat iron it.My purple is fading to a reddish color and the blue is looking green :(</p>
<p>@Descuff WHAT?! LUCKY!!! My people here are SO LOUD!!! Like the room across the hall from mine, the people in there play their music REALLY LOUD and so randomly! I can hear it perfectly in my room. Then people just talk a lot in the hallways and with their dorms open. You are so lucky. </p>
<p>@Niquii77 Yeah I prob should study too…nahh lol. I’ll study tonight foreal though. Also do you live in a suite type thing? Like multiple rooms share a common area?</p>
<p>@Everyone I just spent like 3hours cleaning up my dorm and setting up my TV, ihome, and wireless headphones! I am so happy! I don’t want to deal with my gamesystems though. Anyway Onto the real question. Do you know if we are allowed to be in the room during a room check? Like I always leave, but this time I really don’t feel like getting dressed or going anywhere.</p>
<p>I didn’t know I was a rare case. There are occasionally loudness like guys playing game, band playing and random singing in the hall but these are minor things. Glad no one bought a subwoofer around here</p>
<p>Lol well his music doesn’t even have bass to it! It was horribly ironic though, I had to listen to his music while trying to figure out how to set up my ihome to listen to my own. Also I’m just chilling in my school’s cafe like a loner. I feel so awkward. Like everyone else here is with someone and here I am just chilling at a table alone, on a computer, drinking a smoothie.</p>
<p>Oh I sit alone in lunch before class mainly because I don’t want to waste more time waiting on them. But we don’t have smoothies for some reason… I think</p>
<p>When I said cafe I mean like starbucks. We have a starbucks type place in our college. I wanted to go to the cafeteria, but they were closed.</p>
<p>Oh we have a Starbucks in this food court like area. But the,lines are usually long</p>
<p>My hall is overall quiet but I hang out with the loud people…</p>
<p>Also, D-hall is really touch-and-go when it comes to good food…I eat a lot of french fries…</p>
<p>We have Java City in the library and then a Starbucks in the bookstore…I haven’t been to Starbucks but Java City’s iced lattes are good…Oh, and there’s an Einstein Bros Bagels in the student union I haven’t tried…</p>
<p>I eat alone for the majority of my meals. It takes too long waiting for people. I’d rather get in and get out. :)</p>
