Ohh caz im all alone, have yet to make friends, and struggling in one of my classes.
Well that might not be the case now! I think i made a new friend today :D

Do you guys actually spend that much time studying?! Like I’ve been chilling and making As. It isn’t that complex…well yet. It is starting to get there.

Also @Forin yay!!! Friendship! I’m nervous my friends are going to grow tired of me.

I have to go to see a speaker tonight who is talking about the importance of the Humanities and Liberal Arts education. I skipped Calc today and my English class was cancelled so we would go to the speaker instead.

Well I count spending 3 hours on homework as studying. But right now I got a stupid essay I didn’t know about and a questionnaire to fill out, about, myself by a close family member or friend. (two actually) due tomorrow (for the same class). Next time I’m doing these things ahead of time, I just didn’t know I could do them ahead of time, smh

I had an F in my Arabic class until this morning; now it’s an A-. Basically, I hadn’t done any online assignments because I didn’t know where to search for them. Luckily, she let me turn them in late - very uncharacteristic.

@FastNeutrino: you expend 3 hours studying a day with 17 credit hours? Wow, I’ve only studied once - for 15 minutes (though about 2 hours a day go to homework) - and my classes seem to be settling into a pace now.

Computer Science, but I only have a 1 credit-hour seminar in that, where they tell us about jobs. (I took AP in high school.) Other than that I’ve got Arabic 101, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, Cultural Diversity, and Religious Extremism. Those last four are all honors (I’m in the honors college and had to pick a two-course cluster; the last two make that up).

Now that I have a good idea of what the exams consist of I’ll be making dramatic changes to my studying schedule. Play time is over (not literally I mean tomorrow’s Friday afterall)

There was a guy smoking out of a wooden pipe and it smelled so good. Much better than cigarette smoke. It was a warm, yummy scent. Almost like brownies or baked goods.

It gets loud here, too. Last night people were purposefully stomping up and down the hall around 1 AM. Then the person above me is just loud in general. I know when they wake up, open their drawers, or enter/leave their dorm room.

I’m so mad. The tat shop on Main St did $13 piercings today. And I turn 18 next week. So unfair. The normal price is $25 for lobe, $50 for cartilage…
