College Classes

Are general one semester college classes in the sciences such as chemistry and physics enough for one to take the correlating AP exams without further preparation?

Also, is it enough to receive a 5?

I have found that many AP tests are more difficult then entry level college courses, with regards to testing. I would recommend getting a study guide, like princeton review, to supplement your college class work. I know from experience that the AP physics exam is very, very specified and introductory college physics classes typically do not cover, in great enough depth, the material covered on the AP exam.
