<p>Ok check it, I have taken hard sceince classes at a local engeingeerig college since I was a Sophmore. As a soph I got all Bs in math and biology…so Im ok, but this semester I got 2 Ds in Physics and Precalc. I have decent SATs, a great essay and my recs are out of this world amazing. How badly will these Ds hurt me?
Note…I am not planning on majoring in a science or math and the recs mostly speak of my writing ability and overall breadth of learning.
I am applying to relativly selective LACs .</p>
<p>I tend to think that 2 Ds will put you out of the running at any elite LAC.</p>
<p>Definitely don’t think that’s happening with D’s, no matter how great everything else is.</p>
