<p>Can a college coach let you know that you got accepted before you receive an official acceptance letter? Or, does it depend on the school?</p>
<p>It probably depends on the school, but D1 received a call from the track coach at one of her schools to tell her she had been accepted. This was about two months in advance of the official notification date. This was one of the "CC's Top Universities," if it matters. (Division III school)</p>
