Any ideas for schools please?
I’m pretty lost at finding schools (safety, target and reach) that would work for me. Any ideas would be appreciated!

My Perfect School:
-East or West Coast
-laid back (not preppy)
-motivated and involved student body!
-good social life (but not too party central)

GPA: unweighted- 3.5 weighted: 3.8

Total:1800

Teen Foundation Board ( 3 years)

    Teen Foundation Board Leadership Council
-chosen to be on the board for a second year as a member of the Leadership Council. Had to run the meetings and go to weekly planning meetings.
    Teen Foundation Board Alumni
-work on perfecting the board, go to weekly meetings, act as liaison to the main foundation

Town Youth Involvement Committee Member (3 years)

  • Weekly meetings to provide healthy and fun activities to the community
Town Youth Involvement Committee Subcommittee Head Chair (2 years)
-elected to plan the events and hold weekly meetings

Leadership:
elected ASB commissioner of Cultural Diversity

I have no idea what types of schools that I should be looking at and any help would be great!

  • thanks!

This is probably meant for the college search and selection forum (someone will transfer your thread there in a moment. ;))

In a meanwhile, do you think that’s your best on standardised tests – are you hitting a ceiling, do you just need to work out time management issues on those tests, etc.?

How do you compare yourself with your peers? Ignore GPA and everything – just how you feel about your passions and interests compared to theirs.

Sorry! I’m new on this so I wasn’t sure where to post. I know I can do better on those standardized tests, I think I was just stressed and unprepared and I will be working on that!
I feel weird comparing myself to my peers but I do feel that I am extremely passionate and interested in what I do, especially in regards to the Foundation Board that I am on.
