I wanted to make it easier for us to buy high school graduation gifts (rolls of colored gaffers tape) for my daughter’s friends, color-specific to their college, so I started compiling a list, got carried away, and figured I would share it.

I used information that was compiled by someone else (Fashion-Hound.com), so there may be errors; I haven’t checked all of them yet.

The key difference is that I also want to track Pantone/CMYK and RGB colors, when it’s available. You can view and filter via the attached (altho you cannot edit or add new data)

Dartmouth’s color is not white, it is green. Additions: Bowdoin is white (And black, sometimes. Their mascot is the polar bear.). Bates is garnet. (They are very picky about this! )The University of Chicago is maroon. Wellesley is blue and white.

Fun.
Massachusetts, Tuft Univerity, brown and blue

The official Tufts colors are a dark brown and a sky blue as prescribed by the Pantone color specification system (or the Pantone Matching System of “PMS” numbers). They are Brown PMS 4625 and Blue PMS 279. Other browns and blues should be avoided.

Even though Harvard’s color is crimson, the actual shade that is used for regalia and stationary is closer to burgundy, i.e., a cadmium red dark pigment mixed with a little black.

Our signature color is a maroon that matches Pantone® 202 U. It is supported by two grays—a dark gray (Pantone Warm Gray 11 U) and a light gray (Pantone Cool Gray 3 U).
