<p>The article prefaces with the presumption that Biden was a charming plagarizer, McCain as passionate contrarian who won the hearts of his classmates at the Naval Academy.</p>

<p>Then they go on to note that Obama was “daunting scholar and calming influence”, which might be true of his later years, but runs contrary to the fact that not much is known of his younger years.</p>

<p>Anyway, cute article. Chillax, go-to-friend, that took the world serious enough, and earned good grades.</p>

<p>Ketchum could remember only one out-of-character incident.</p>

<p>“Someone pulled the fire alarm next to my door,” she said. “We all were told there is an invisible dye that squirts onto your hand when you pull the alarm and you’re not going to be able to hide. And Sarah looked at her hands, and said, ‘Oh my God, look!’ And she went and confessed.”</p>

<p>Well I know at least fifty people who fit that go-to-friend, take the world serious enough, smart description. As great as they are, I really doubt any of them are fit to be vice president and possible president of the U.S.</p>

<p>Why does everything related to the these people have to immediately ring in your head as possibly qualifiers/disqualifiers in your mind?</p>

<p>I mean, I see a fun human touch that is needed in these tough political campaigns for us to all get warm about but that’s just me.</p>

<p>I don’t know. I mean, it just seems to me that someone running for Vice President of our country should be qualified for the job. Maybe I expect too much?</p>

<p>Well, by that logic, Obama’s mere eloquence and ability to inspire others should net him the election.</p>

<p>I don’t think it’s weird that neither Obama’s nor Palin’s respective undergraduate universities seem to remember them that much. These universities graduate thousands of students every year, so how are they supposed to remember individuals?</p>

<p>Lots of people are hidden in college and only have fake unmemorable friendships with people who prolly wouldn’t do them any favors when asked. It’s a whole lotta strangers really. Hence the greek system.</p>

<p>Wellesley’s a pretty tiny school. Plus, I’m not sure if all that lasting impression was entirely positive, haha. I kid, and I think Hillary’s great, but she does have that whole cloying overachiever thing.</p>

<p>She’s a dedicated public servant and an inspiration to many women out there. I’m not saying that she’s my ideal politician, but if I had children, I think she’d be a good role model for them (her desperado phase against Obama notwithstanding).</p>

<p>Yeah, but then there’s the fact that she’s a senator from New York, and where is she from again? Then there’s the being wrong about everything, and the repulsive personality and boner-shrinkingness. Not that you agree with any of that, but I don’t see how you can overtly disagree… btw how tall are you?</p>

<p>I am repulsed at the fact that Hillary had such high unfavorables. Here is a woman that has had more votes for her cast in any primary of and election in history.</p>

<p>Okay, so she’s not charming and suave, but she is warm and down-to-earth, the complete opposite of Obama. I mean, that right-wing-conspiracy thing is annoying thing too, and she isn’t a PILF ala Palin, but come on, I don’t understand the vile.</p>

<p>She had principles, she was a fighter, she wasn’t going to be a pawn in the DNC’s game, she did things on her own accord :slight_smile: Just like McCain :D</p>

<p>I suppose with McCain failing so badly, Hillary retrospectively was the the Great White Hope. Should’ve thought of this before devoting nearly 15 years of knee-jerk anti-Hillaryism in the Republican Party. Who’d have thought that she would’ve been your best defense against an uppity black president?</p>
