Yes, and my understanding is that Smith has a fine engineering program for women.

It looks like you are looking at schools on the east coast, but let me put in a pitch for Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA. It is a masters university (meaning they don’t offer PhD degrees) and is a fine place. They have a highly regarded engineering program. The school has about 4500 undergrads but feels much smaller than that as many upperclassmen reside off campus. It also has the feel of a LAC even though it’s officially a university. I believe students in the College of Arts and Sciences can take a minor in most of the engineering fields at the school. It’s worth checking out. It’s a Jesuit school, very good programs and outstanding facilities. The location in the Silicon Valley can’t be topped for engineering internship possibilities.

Santa Clara is a great (and much underrated) place.
