<p>After receiving my AP scores today for Biology and Physics, I did not do as well as I had expected too even though my performance in the classroom seemed to make me feel as if I had clicked with the content. Upper level courses in biology and physics are important with the track that I want to take as a Chemistry major. Are there cases where students who did not seem to click with the AP material in high school eventually click with the subject in college? Or should I consider a change in plan?</p>
<p>depending on how the ap class is taught, sometimes they are a college level equivilent and other no where near close. In my AP Lit class, we all failed since the class was taught horribly, I had a 2! Switch to my first year in college which academically intense, after 5 lit classes, 3 of which were upper level writing and analysis intensive classes, I recieved A in all of them. </p>
<p>So my suggestion, don’t sweat it, stick to what you like and go for it. Worse comes to worse you’ll take a lower level class which will set up the fundamentals for your higher level classes.</p>
