Hey guys. I’m currently a freshman for the class of 2018. I took some summer college courses at UCR and an online UC Berkeley extension course as a high school Junior. The UCR courses consisted of Chem001A,Chem001AL, Chem001B, Chem001BL, and some upper division neuroscience courses. The UC Berk Extension course wasn’t an XB course, instead it was an X course. I did send in a UCR transcript. Will these courses have any effect on my UC Berkeley academic GPA? Will it show up on my official academic transcript? Will UC courses taken in high school affect my UC Berkeley GPA? Thank you very much.

Sorta in your same position. Here’s what helped me:

•Except for UC Extension XB or XBW courses and courses from other UC campuses, transfer work does not affect the Berkeley grade point average.
