<p>If you have taken a class at a local college while still in high school, how do you know if your prospective school will accept them? </p>
<p>For example, if I take calculus at a local college, is it possible that I will not need to take it (if it is required for my major obviously)?</p>
<p>It really depends on the school. From what I have seen, state schools will most likely take the credit and you wouldn’t have to take the class. But a lot of top schools won’t accept the credit…I may be wrong though.</p>
<p>Okay, what about BU or Northeastern… and other schools in that tier?</p>
<p>It will probably be a considerable factor in my school selection because I will have a lot of credit.</p>
