<p>I am currently a freshman at Binghamton University and I am having a hard time socially. I live in a party dorm and have a single for medical reasons so I can’t really party or drink. Unfortunately, the school does not have many singles so this was the only one I was able to get and will get it again next year. I am just upset because I dont really have any friends and I am having a hard time coping as a result. I have tried getting involved in clubs like the newspaper, hall government, applying to be an RA, and even a sorority and things just haven’t worked out. I’m not sure what my next move should be to handle the situation. I am considering going to the University of Delaware which has a nicer campus although I’m afraid of paying double the tuition to maybe be in a similar situation socially. The only difference is that Delaware has more singles available in the dorms so it won’t look as odd to have one there as it does at Bing. I am also considering Hofstra because its closer to home but its also very expensive and not as great academically. How should I handle this situation?</p>
