<p>I recently took the PSAT and got emails from very good universities (Columbia and Duke, to be specific). I clicked the option to receive further info from those colleges, so now they are sending me all kinds of stuff through the mail. Does this increase my chance of getting in those colleges?</p>
<p>no. and i suggest u get an honest opinion about your chances to get in cuase they send everyone email–even those that they know have a 0.002% chance of getting in, but they just want more ppl to apply so they can have a smaller admit rate + get more of your $.</p>
