College endowments are buried.

<p>There’s going to be a mad crush at community colleges if this happens as community college graduates will be a preference category.</p>

<p>This will be an issue for our daughter in a few years - the availability of community college and public university slots. She hasn’t indicated a preference for public or private colleges at this time but I’m assuming that she will pick public.</p>

<p>And Columbia, and Yale, U Mich :(, and Virginia… its a long list of financial incompetence.</p>

<p>At least Harvard made a ton of money before all the copycatters got into the illiquid trash.</p>

<p>This is what happens when you try to make 8% returns, or more, in a 4% world.</p>
