Firstly, I must say that I’m not american and my time at school wasn’t as the “usual” american student. That being said I’m thinking to apply to an american college for the 2021 academic year and have no idea what my essay is going to be about although I’ve considered talking about how self-studying for the sat subject test and calculus has shaped me into a more disciplined and perseverant person and most importantly has made me to believe in myself without being discouraged of my unsupportive parents and family in general.
The reason why I self-studied maths and physics is because my school does not teach this topics at american college level.
Do You think is a good idea? I don’t know if this would turn against me or something.
