<p>Hi! 
One of MSU’s application essay questions this year is:</p>
<p>“Briefly discuss an activity or organization that you have participated in, or are currently participating in, outside of your own cultural group.”</p>
<p>I really want to write about my experience volunteering with underprivileged Latino kids, but I’m not sure how to incorporate more about myself in there? I know universities like it when we talk about ourselves, but how do I do that in this type of essay? I could mention that I learned to appreciate Latino culture?? I feel like that sounds cliche . :/</p>
