<p>I’m going to apply to the UC’s and what extra curriculars do you think would brighten up and strengthen my application?!</p>

<p>Here’s a list of my extra curricular as of now:

  1. co president of habitat for humanity
  2. karate instructor (4 years) <em>job</em>
  3. math/english tutor (4 years) <em>job</em>
  4. cross country (3 years)
  5. link leader
  6. 300+ volunteer hours (ex. feeding homeless, city clean ups, etc)
  7. Kaiser volunteer (200+ hours from there)</p>

<p>You need to pursue extracurriculars that you are passionate about. Don’t do things just because you think they will look good to colleges; colleges will often pick up on that. The best advice is to do what you’re passionate about and try to be well-rounded without have a laundry list of ECs. In the end, it’s not what you do, it’s how you do it and the impact you have.</p>
