Hey guys, int’l student here who just got accepted to some US school with fin aid. I came across a College Factual website call Cost Cutter while trying to find a mean to lower my contribution.
Have anybody here ever heard anything about College Factual as well as Cost Cutter program?
I want to make sure that this is not a scam and by participate in this program, I wont damage my future of attending to college in US.
I just skimmed the College Factual website. I didn’t see anything about “cost cutter” on that. This website looks to be one that gives info about colleges and costs so that applicants can compare.

What are you hoping this will do for you? You have applied and been accepted, and received financial aid. To lower your costs, YOU need to do things like reduce personal expenses, buy books used online, etc.

About reducing my expense, I’m aware of that. It just that I want to save more money for my parents, earning 2k or more in my country is really hard, and I dont want them to cut down any of their expense for my education
You can read the suggestions in that link yourself. My guess is they give you suggestions to earn money yourself, cut discretionary spending, and economize where you can.
