Worked in the office today but left early to see the game. Everyone else had the same idea. The last traffic light to my house had a back up a block long! This was at 3:50. Go Huskies!

Penix played hurt. I give him a lot of credit for giving it his all. It would have helped him if his guys could have given him better coverage.

We watched with a huge crowd at the local Michigan bar/restaurant. It was pandemonium.

Even some of the Ohio Costco stores have them! Itās a messy morning in Ann Arbor today (rain/snow business) but I bet they are still celebrating!!!

Congrats to Michigan
They made Penix uncomfortable and the hits, over time, took their toll. Looked like he ended the game with a broken or cracked rib. He didnāt have quite enough time to set his feet on most dropbacks and ā while he made some nice throws ā he wasnāt ever allowed to get into a real rhythm. And when Michigan drove the ball, they scored. They didnāt waste opportunities.
9 didnāt have his best game, but he made some key throws and that big run on 3rd and 8 deep in the Mich end probably prevented Washington from tying the game (I think it was 20-13 at that point). Michigan punts from their end zone otherwise, Washington has a short field, and all the momentum.

Michigan runs a pro style defense with Minter from the Ravens. It confuses many QB. No question Penix was hurt and probably before those like last 8 minutes when he holding his chest area. Michigan line is as big and strong as many pro teams. He over threw I guess since he was hurt and trying to get the ball there and had extra juice on it.
If Harbaugh doesnāt let his ego get in the way and punts on that 4th down I donāt Washington scores more then 3 the whole way. If Michigan guys donāt drop some passes that changes dynamics also. But ifs donāt win games. Well coached kids on the field do.
