I am looking for a good BS econ school preferably in northern Ohio. I read something a few weeks ago about BGSU being a good school but have not been able to find it since my first read of it:( should have bookmarked it!

also if anyone can explain to me what sets schools University of Chicago apart from somewhere like BGSU I would appreciate it because I so huge difference between the two other than name.

SLUMom, Denison is central OH, just east of Columbus which is smack dab in the center of the state.

OP, Chicago, Princeton, MIT and Harvard are generally considered the top schools for Econ, primarily based on their graduate programs which do influence the undergrad. At those schools you can work with the top economists alive. However, I saw from another thread you had a 2.3 at a CC as of May 2010 so I don’t think those are realistic choices for you.

I actually almost have it at a 3.0 now but it would be more a financial thing with those schools, I get the the point though. Going to college with no ambition and no goal in mind was a big mistake on my part but when you know absolutely nothing about college or how it works aka come from a family with no history of college mistakes will be made.
