Hi all, recently I’ve received some things in the mail from two colleges (Marquette University and Central College) saying that if I log on their website or whatever, they will send me a guidebook. (Info on their college/college in general, I suppose.)

The letters say something like,

" “I’d like to send you The Essentials for a Winnning Application” to teach you how to craft a great application. Its full of helpful hints and insider tips that will give you a competitive edge and relieve the stess of applying. "

" To help you get the facts behind common college tall tales, I’d like to send you Myths & Make-Believe: What the Guidebooks Won’t Tell You."

Are these guidebooks free? Or will I end up having to pay for them? The letters indicate no price.

Any help, appreciated!

Free…Free…Free There will come a day when you will have piles of these
“view books”. Glossy pages w/ happy students smiling back at you.

Great! Thanks for the reply, free stuff sounds good to me, even if it is a pile of students smiling at me.

You can go to any college website and request that information be sent to you…they will send it at no cost. So, if you are starting the look see process click away and wait for the mail to load up in your box.
