College help!!

Hi, I’m currently going into the 11th year in a private prep school, I was wonder how many AP/Honors class would I have to take to get into schools like Notre Dame, UCLA, Duke, Stanford, and Vanderbilt? Also, what would be the minimum I would have to receive on the SAT.

Thank You

Ask your GC, they will have the best idea of what is needed to get into different collegess from your prep school.

But could you me like a rough estimate of it or something?

In general 2100 is baseline for selective colleges.

For AP/Honors, it is relative to what is offered by your HS what other students take. Look at the CA, your GC will mark down the rigor of your coursework: most demanding, very demanding, demanding, etc.

What would you say would be the minimum number of APs I should take as a Junior and Senior?

Talk to your GC.

To OP- you need to do your homework on this. We are not admissions officers, so no one really knows how many AP classes are needed- in fact, I’d bet that if you called every school on your list, an admissions officer would tell you that there is no magic number- just take the most challenging curriculum that you can. They will also likely tell you that there is no minimum test score required, but you should easily be able to find out what scores would put you in the bottom 25%.
