<p>I have a few questions regarding how honors classes and admission works:

  1. Do you apply for honors(i’m an incoming freshman)?
  2. If you apply for honors and are rejected do you still get to become a regular student or do you not get into the university at all?
  3. Are honors classes that much more difficult?</p>

<p>What university are you applying to?</p>

<p>I am applying to a lot, but I am primarily focusing on my safety’s. All I am asking is does applying for the honors program make you more likely to get rejected from a university?</p>

<p>My safety’s are:
Widener University
Seton Hall University
Rowan University</p>

<p>If you don’t get into the honors program, that wouldn’t make them reject you.</p>

<p>Basically, an enrichment program for high performing students. Usually operates under direct university authority and not department level. This means it doesn’t matter what you major in - all majors are invited.</p>

<p>Normally, you would have to apply to the university first and once your accepted THEN start your honors programs apps. It may be different for some colleges, so maybe just call the college your looking into and ask or even send an e-mail.</p>

<p>I mean, it really depends on the college. Go to their website and do some research. Like saballance said, for some you apply to both the college and the honors program directly and for others you apply to honors after…</p>
