Ideally not colleges where social context is negatively a major point
I play soccer, but i do not have enough material to be recruited previously, and a heavy oriented athletic environment maybe wouldn’t suit me well;
Grinnell College
University of Richmond / Washington and Lee (maybe both are too cliquey - please tell me more about those!)
Denison College
Skidmore College
Franklin and Marshall College
Macalester College
Dickinson College
Rhodes College
Union College
DePauw
College of Wooster
Beloit College
Lawrence University
Centre College (Optional, apparently heavy athletic importance)
I mean too cliquey environments or very notable social bubbles in colleges such as W&Lee and Richmond, specially as I am an international. I know both are top notch for business, so maybe I need more opinions.
Again, can you share your academics? Those will be critical for both admissions and funding chances. Your country of origin might be important too, in terms of whether it might be particularly under- or over-represented in terms of US applications.
Could you please do a chance me/match me thread and answer all of the questions on the template? That will help guide folks in giving you suggestions. What you have written here is only part of what is needed to help.
People who target business or econ as majors often see those as good pathways to jobs after undergrad. If it is your goal to get a job in the US after graduation, the path to getting a visa post graduation is not easy. As a general business or econ major, it is unlikely that an H-1B path is available. Don’t know your intent post graduation, but I would not plan on attending a US college as an immigration strategy.
