College Major and Minors

My d wants to major in computer science and minor in English and Chinese. Which college is ideal for these courses?

Lots of colleges offer all three subjects with enough advanced level courses.

Others here can better help if you specify admission credentials and financial constraints.

You may want to look at schools on the quarter system if your students wants to double minor.

Northwestern is one that comes to mind that touts the ease of adding minors but it’s extremely competitive.

I am not sure what admission credentials are?
Do you mean ACT scores and AP classes?

Description of the student’s characteristics that would be included in a college application, such as (but not limited to) high school GPA (unweighted), courses taken while in high school, any test scores, extracurriculars, etc…

Be aware that the definition of “minor” (in terms of number of courses/credits and number of upper level courses/credit) varies across colleges (and some colleges do not have official minors at all).

For areas of secondary interest, it may be better to look for sufficient offerings of interest to the student, regardless of whether there is an official minor.

Hamilton could be ideal for those interests.

A good approach might be to generate a list of match (statistically speaking) schools that offer solid CS (computer science) programs since English is a major found at almost every college & university.

Then further refine the list by schools offering study in Chinese.

Doing so in reverse order: Middlebury College in Vermont is outstanding for foreign language study, English, and does offer a major in CS.
